Lydia Corbett aka Sylvette David, Picasso’s muse, in conversation with her daughter, Isabel Coulton

A delightful insight into the surprise sitting for the world’s most renowned artist Pablo Picasso.  A young 19 year old Sylvette was invited to be the great master’s muse, something she has never forgotten and always been very grateful for.  Her daughter Isabel humorously accompanies her mum down memory lane.  They will present the talk alongside a powerpoint slideshow, full of beautiful pictures and photographs of the pair together.  Sylvette, now Lydia is a painter in her own right, her daughter a sculptor.  Together they talk about what it is to be an artist and also have their own insights into Picasso, his character and some of his working methods.
