Please read this important message from the Trustees regarding the future of the Devon Rural Archive:

As you are now aware our Curator, Abi Gray, will be stepping down from her role at the Archive on the 15th December 2023. We would like to thank Abi for all her hard work over the last 15 years and to wish her all very the best for the future.

We would also like to thank all the dedicated volunteers that have worked alongside Abi during that period and who have given so much of their time to making the DRA such a special place. A special thank you should be extended to the volunteers who have supported the Archive during 2023 and who have helped make the launch of the Shilstone Cafe so successful. We wish all the best to those volunteers leaving us at Christmas.

Exciting new developments are planned for the DRA next year. The Archive will be closed from Friday 15th December 2023 until Wednesday 3rd January 2024 but please do check the DRA website for further news in the new year.

On behalf of everyone at the Archive we would like to wish all our followers a peaceful and happy Christmas and New Year.
