Devon Caring in War
By the end of the First World War more than 60 hospitals units had been established in Devon; between them they treated over 40,000 patients, thanks to their largely volunteer staff.
This display looks at the ways in which wounded and recovering soldiers were cared for in:
- Budleigh Salterton
- Chagford
- Dawlish
- Kingsbridge
- Seale Hayne
- Sidmouth
- Totnes
This exhibition is on loan from the South West Heritage Trust
